Environment and Community
EcoVadis – CRI-SIL began working towards and a sustainability rating through EcoVadis in 2020 in an effort to improve our environmental, social, and ethical performance. Although we were already doing much of what EcoVadis focuses on, the platform has allowed us to shed light on some areas of weakness and helping us improve.

Mary’s Walk – Mary’s Walk began in 1999 as a way to remember and honor Mary Kerry Libby who was a member of our local community. Mary passed away from Burkitt’s Lymphoma in 1997 and Mary’s Walk has been raised almost $4 million dollars for Maine cancer research and treatment. CRI-SIL has been a donor and the presenting sponsor for many years.

Emerald Society – CRI-SIL is a proud supporter of the Maine Emerald Society, a non-profit organization that supports law enforcement, military (active and veterans), and families who are in need.

Over our 30+ years in business, CRI-SIL has been involved in dozens of worthwhile charity causes.
The following are just a few of the most recent:
In August of 2023 we held the “No Bowl Empty” Pet Food Pantry fundraiser and our employees raised over $1200 in cash and filled a car with dog food and toys.
In November 2023 CRI-SIL and our employees donated an entire truckload of food to the Biddeford Food Pantry along with a $600 cash donation.
In December 2023 we sponsored a local family in need for Christmas. We provided the family with presents (toys and clothing) for 3 children, mom and dad, a Christmas tree, grocery store gift card. We also provided the downpayment so they could secure an apartment.
